Dear Dunwoody Orchestra Members and Parents,
This year marks my 4th year as orchestra director at Dunwoody High School. I also proud to represent the fine arts department as our department head. This orchestra program is not just about creating and nurturing musicians. This program is about building relationships, learning about music from cultures around the world, the multiple techniques related to the violin, viola. cello, and bass, and training all students for life after high school. Every single student will be given a full range of knowledge related to music and its practicality in the modern
I would like to encourage everyone to join the DHS Orchestra Booster Club. This wonderful organization is responsible for every aspect of your child's orchestra experience outside of learning music. Without your participation in the Booster Club it would be impossible to sustain a viable music program. The Orchestra Boosters provide financial support for sheet music, strings, instrument repair and maintenance, concert programs, awards, festival fees and so much more.
